Refund and Cancellation Policy Last updated: May 14, 2024 This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made through My JLPT Study ("we", "our", or "us"), the provider of the JLPT Question Generator web application. The app delivers on-demand Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) study materials, including adaptive drills, queued question packs, and downloadable exam simulations. By purchasing credits or otherwise using the service, you agree to this policy. 1. Digital Services and Instant Fulfilment Our tools generate digital study content immediately after a Stripe payment succeeds or when existing credits are redeemed. Because access is delivered right away, completed generations and downloads are generally **non-refundable**. When you confirm payment you acknowledge that: - You receive instant access to the purchased credits or generated content. - You **waive any statutory cooling-off or cancellation period** that would otherwise apply to unused digital content. 2. Credit Top-Ups Purchases made via Stripe Checkout issue credits to your account as soon as Stripe confirms the charge. Credits may be used to start adaptive sessions, queue new questions, or download full exam templates. Once issued, credits **cannot be returned or exchanged** for cash value. If you begin a generation that consumes credits, those credits remain deducted even if you decide not to use the resulting content. 3. Pending Checkout Sessions You may abandon or close a Stripe Checkout session at any point before completing payment. No charge occurs and no credits are issued in that case. After a payment succeeds, the transaction is final except as outlined in Section 5. 4. Technical Problems and Failed Deliveries We want the learning experience to run smoothly. Please contact us within **7 days of purchase** if: - Credits were deducted but the app failed to produce any questions or exam content because of a platform error. - You were charged but did not receive the credit bundle you purchased. We will investigate the issue and either restore the missing credits or issue a refund if the problem cannot be resolved promptly. 5. Exceptional Refund Circumstances Although digital deliveries are normally non-refundable, we may approve a refund or account credit when: - Duplicate charges or accidental repeat purchases occur. - Fraudulent or unauthorised transactions are confirmed by Stripe. - A sustained outage (longer than 24 hours) prevents you from accessing previously purchased credits or content. Approved refunds will be processed back to the **original payment method** within **5–10 business days**. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to display the refund. 6. Policy for Subscriptions My JLPT Study does not currently sell recurring subscriptions. If subscription billing is introduced in the future, we will update this policy and notify active customers before any renewal charges occur. 7.
